Messa per Rossini (Messa per Rossini - Three Choirs Concert)
Date: Saturday 13th April 2013 at 7:30pm
Together with Harow Philharmonic Choir and Stanmore Choral Society, we will be performing this work written by 13 Italian composers to commemorate the first anniversary of Rossini's death in 1869.Â
The conductor will be John Wyatt of Harrow Philharmonic Choir, who conducted the UK premiere, and the venue will be St Albans Abbey.

Christmas Celebration Concert (Our annual Christmas concert)

As usual a very enjoyable blend of familiar and not-so-familiar works for all the family in the beautifu and historic surroundings of the Harrow School Speech Room (Harrow on the Hill). Our guest reader this year will be Timothy Bentinck (David Archer in The Archers).

Voices for Hospices 2011 (Voices for Hospices October 2011)

Autumn 2010 Concert (Our World - music for a precious planet, in association with the Royal British Legion)

On the eve of Remembrance Sunday, featuring extracts from Haydn's Creation together with Song of St Francis by Howard Blake and the premier of a newly commissioned work by James Francis Brown and poet Brian Levison - The Most Fortunate Generations.

123Sing! (Join us in a one-off rehearsal and performance as part of this national celebration of singing.)

Harrow Choral Society is participating in 123Sing! which is the biggest celebration of singing ever seen in the UK. Rehearsal will start at 2.00pm, followed by the performance itself, finishing by 7.00pm. The programme will include excerpts from Haydn's Creation and other pieces from our forthcoming November concert.

Spring Concert 2010 (Our Spring Concert)

We first performed Bryan Kelly's Look Stranger at This Island in 2000, having commissioned the work for our Millennium Celebration, and are looking forward very much to performing it again. We will also be singing Songs of the Fleet by Sir Charles Villiers Stanford. Details of the concert can be seen on the concert poster.

Christmas Celebration 2009 (Our Christmas Concert for 2009)

Our Christmas Concert this year will be held at the historic Speech Room at Harrow School, Harrow-on-the-Hill on Saturday 12th December 2009. We will, as usual, be performing an eclectic mixture of Carols - well known and less well known - but all highly accessible and, we hope, highly enjoyable. There will also be audience participation and a brass ensemble. Our reader this year will be Bruce Alexander (Mullet from ITV's "Frost").

Away Day (Malmesbury Abbey - Wiltshire)

On Saturday 5th July 2008, the choir will be taking the Summer Concert programme to Malmesbury Abbey in Wiltshire for an "away-day" - a well tried and highly enjoyable day of socialising for the choir as well as performing to a local audience.

Summer Concert (Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes and Richard Taylor's Genesis)

Our Summer Concert will be on Saturday 28th June 2008 when we will perform Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes and also Genesis by Richard Taylor. A significant proportion of the choir performed Genesis with other choirs on stage at the London Coliseum in July 2006 as part of the 20th anniversay celebration of ENO Bayliss (English National Opera's educational arm). The concert will be held at St. George's Church, Pinner View, North Harrow.
