Events - Spring Concert 2012

Our Spring Concert this year will be a performance of what is undoubtedly one of the great works of western culture - Mass in B Minor by J S Bach. For what promises to be a great occasion in the magnificence of St Albans Abbey, we will be joining forces with the Chiltern Choir, with whom we have performed very successfully and enjoyably a number of times in the past. Simon will be preparing us over the coming months for our performance of this challenging though hugely rewarding work, but our conductor for the evening will be Michael Cayton, Music Director of the Chiltern Choir.
We will be accompanied by the Wallace Ensemble and our soloists will be Jessica Gillingwater (soprano), James Hall (countertenor), David Knight (tenor) and Peter Willcock (bass).
