Events - Three Choirs Concert

Approximately every three years, we participate in what has now become a traditional joint concert with two other choirs from the Harrow area - Stanmore Choral Society and Harrow Philharmonic Choir. The programmes for these "Three Choirs" concerts usually comprise major choral works - commensurate with the large number of voices involved - and they usually take place at a venue appropriate not only to the size of the combined choir but also to the size of the aniticipated audience!

This season the concert will be held at St Alban's Abbey and it is the turn of Stanmore to choose the programme and for their Music Director, Nick Austin, to conduct the concert. We will be performing Edward Elgar's The Music Makers and Karl Jenkins' The Armed Man. Our soloists will be Katherine Bond (Soprano) and Catherine Hooper (Mezzo Soprano).
